FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We firmly hold that Scripture is sufficient to answer every issue that is presented in the counseling room. The experience of counseling we have is based on thorough studies of the Scriptures and certification through ACBC. We do not possess licensing, nor do we affirm the necessity of such to answer the problems people face.
Q1: ARE YOUR COUNSELORS LICENSED?

All costs related to the counseling sessions are covered because of the faithful financial support of brothers and sisters across the world. This includes the cost of the session, books, and homework materials. If you would like to make a donation toward this ministry, you can do so through here.
Q2: WHAT IS THE COST FOR COUNSELING?

The first session will be focused on gathering data while going through the Personal Data Inventory. This can take up to 2.5 hours, depending on the information disclosed. Following this, each session will focus on studying and implementing the word of God for the specific problem presented. Sessions are typically one-hour long.
Q3: WHAT DOES A TYPICAL COUNSELING SESSION LOOK LIKE?

First, simply fill out our online Personal Data Inventory. Once received and reviewed, we will contact you for confirmation on a date and time for our first session together. Please allow up to seven business days for a response.
Q4: HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

We encourage and welcome men and women of all faith backgrounds (Mormonism, Islam, Jehovah Witness, etc.) to pursue biblical counseling.
Q5: WHAT IF I HAVE A DIFFERENT BELIEF SYSTEM? CAN I STILL RECEIVE BIBLICAL COUNSELING?

We are called to be both "hearers" and "doers" of the word (Matt. 7:24-27). Doing is not to earn salvation or to earn growth in holiness (Eph. 2:8-10), rather we obey from a transformed heart, knowing it is the love and grace of Christ that controls us (2 Cor. 5:14-15). Therefore, successful biblical counseling requires the daily application of what is learned in each session.
Q6: WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS IN BIBLICAL COUNSELING?
